I’ve never tried. I know the pole spacing is a tad wider on a tv classic bridge, but I know not what other differences there are.

Buy it and try it! ;)

The TV Jones bridge pickups have a slightly wider pole spacing than the neck pickups.

Sorry, I was just making the point that the bridge wider pole spacing is across all TV's pickups not just the Classics.

    No sorry needed!
I meant that as more of a funny “that’s what IIIII said!” and not a “THAT’s what I said”. :)

If your guitar has the 50mm string spacing(or you can live with it) output will be the same. That's how they were all wound in the '50s.

Yes it will and in fact there are at least a few of us who greatly prefer using a Classic Neck in the bridge position and feel it offers more vintage character and clarity than the overwound Classic Bridge. The only thing to keep in mind is that it won't have the taller cover like TVJ bridge filtertrons have so depending on the guitar and bridge height you may have a gap between the bottom of the pickup and the top of the cavity/mounting ring but that is just a looks thing.
