Everybody seems to hate on chorus pedals, certainly due to overuse in the 80s, but I like them a lot when well done.

Here, according to Source Audio, are the Top 10 Greatest Chorus Effect Recordings of All Time.

What others would you add to the list?

WHAT !!! I love chorus . Ever since Bob @LivingMyDream said he was sorry he gave up his favorite chorus pedal ,( the Truetone Visual Sound H2O ) it's all Ive been eyeballing . In fact , talk about downsizing in an earlier thread , I've been thinking of getting rid of a few pedals and going with the Analog Alien Rumble Seat and the H20 as main pedals ..... Now you spring this Gemini Chorus on me !! .....Oh what's a boy to do ......

I love them too. I've looked at the Rumble Seat and the H20. (The Gemini sounds great with that Gretsch! And it's blue!)

Checkout the Southampton Pedals Indie Dream if you like the Rumble Seat.

(They should release an Andy Miller album of just the songs he plays during his videos.)

I really think that chorus is more than an problem than an effect. It will thin out your tone and it will make it somehow vanish and indistinctable. I avoid to use it since the early 90ies.

Chorus is to guitar as lavender is to cooking. It's easy to have waayyy too much. Just the right amount, however....

Here's the song Andy's playing in the video. Great chorus/reverb:

The Police - Walking on the Moon. Indeed the greatest chorus tone ever... For the rest, I'm with loudnlousy :

I'll add Santana - Aqua Marine, though. A favorite of mine :

    A+!

I will always have a chorus pedal in my arsenal. Not used as much as my early days but I call her into play evey once in a while

Andy Summers indeed rules the chorus pedal but Eric Johnson has my favorite chorus clean tone of all time.

When I watched the demo video the first thing I saw was the Gretsch and got excited. Then I saw the guitarist's face and realized it's Lyle Brewer, a Boston based player that I've seen a few times. He's a seriously great player who has seemingly mastered virtually every style of music he plays. I've seven him play country, rock, jazz, you name it and he nails it. Very unassuming guy but MAN can he play! And he's a Gretsch dude!
