Cute little guitar, @loudnlousy  ! Unfortunately, I suppose that there's no LH version available - I'll check it, but...

    A+!

Nope sorry. Thomann has a lefty Harley Benton mini Strat. Been toying with the idea to get a lefty and righty, switch necks and make a mini Hendrix Strat. So many ideas, so little time. :(

Yes, @Ricochet : I checked also and found the same results... :(

I remember that also you suggested me that idea of swapping necks with the TE-90 LH and RH models, IIRC - which is not so stupid, by the way : I would keep the LH and sell the RH "with correct neck headstock"... ;)

    A+!

I just checked Thomann, and the lefty Harley Benton mini Strats are discontinued.

Keep me in mind for the TE90. Honestly I'm not 100% sure yet. I had my eye on two other Harley Bentons(P-bass and a Fusion), and I have way too many Cabro teles already.

On the other hand, one more won't make much a difference...I know, my logic is flawless.

    Ah yes @Ricochet ! ;)

Well I miswrote  : I was thinking about buying 2 TE-90, one RH, one LH, realize the neck swap and resell the RH "with correct headstock"...

Do you think my logic is as flawless as yours ?o_O

    A+!

Oh it's just a regular Rickenbacker 325V59 from 1990,my uncle bought it new,he then sold it to me a year later ,along with a 1988 62 reissue MIJ Tele Custom, when he got a noise abatement order!
    I kept it for 5 years (1996)then traded it for a US 52 reissue Tele,that i then sold 2 years after that!

Wish i still had that wee Rick, little bugger it was to play an'all!
I don't have a lot of pics of it and what i do have are terrible!
Here's one from around 1991 when i got it.

The 19" scale length USA Tacoma Papoose or Indonesian Olympia Papoose would make a fun travel electric.

We’ve discussed it before, so I knew which model you meant. :)

My logic is I don’t object to lefty headstocks(I love them on my Hendrix tribute strats and Firebirds) but any other model I don’t want people to assume it’s a Rob Chapman guitar... I already share the 8-ball logo and pet monkeys. It’s getting weird and feeds my paranoia.

  19. I have the opposite problem. Photos of the band show a few normal sized people and me, 6’3”. Even with a 17” archtop, it looks small, or I am too tall. Strats look like little toys. So I try and make sure I am sitting in Currie photos.

This thing is fantastic! Setup is pretty good. I was apprehensive of the tuners but they’re perfectly fine. Surprisingly chunky neck. Small frets, so no heavy gauge I guess, but that’s the only “fault” I can think of.

    Edit:
Tuners are turning smooth but don’t hold tuning well. Nut is cut very well, not perfect but very well. No sharp fret ends. Neck is dead straight. I’m impressed.

The headstock shape is correctly Tele shaped looking from the front, but the edges are not perfect. From the back they look almost beveled. It’s a bit odd but again looks like Tele from the front.
