They leave out too many great bands and induct some head scratchers

I can't believe Roxy and Todd weren't inducted years ago ... but, yeah, those two, plus the Zombies, Devo and Kraftwerk.

All groups that had a huge musical influence above and beyond record sales (aka Def Leppard).

John Prine? - that's a head scratcher, and I like John Prine ... Radiohead? too new, still active. They're not done yet, give 'em a few more years. Stevie with Mac sure, but by herself? Naaaa.... Some others that aren't really rock and roll (as usual) and then there's MC5. Legendary band yeah, but outside that small circle of fans, who the f***'s ever heard of them!? LoL!

Me, I vote for Sonic Youth and The Cramps!

Is Link Wray in? If not, it's not a hall of fame, but a hall of lame.

Still not. And no Steppenwolf, Guess Who, Scorpions, Warren Zevon, Styx, Jethro Tull, Judas Priest, Todd Rundgren and on and on.

    It's rock, not disco.

    Or rap, either.

From where I sit.....definitely Todd Rundgren and John Prine. These guys are truly great artists. If you're gonna have a HOF (of which I'm not a fan) both should be in it.

None of the others really blow my skirt up...in a manner of speaking.

I'm kind of amazed that Def Leppard is significantly outperforming Radiohead in the voting. I get that Def Leppard was popular, but I don't see their work as having much depth or influence. I haven't really enjoyed anything Radiohead has done since OK Computer, but they're arguably the most critically lauded rock band of the past 25 years.

Def Leppard sold more records than Radiohead and helped invent the second wave of glam rock. Not saying Radiohead is less because of this - I agree with you - but there is a justification.

No jethro tull? Oh man. Hall of lame indeed
