Pretty awful music. Karaoke. Canadian music scene dissolved into a sea of unemployment. I got out (by choice) but I'm glad I did. Payscales were falling apart and I could see the writing on the wall.

Married with children, working, working, working.....topped off with a divorce.

In my youth I spent my health to make the wealth.
As I age I'm spending the wealth to regain my health.

    1. Do well in school
    2. Excel at sports
    3. Party like it's 1999

I discovered you can only do two of those three things at a time, which I did in various combinations for 13 years.

Had a closet full of plaid shirts...still do.
Nirvana, Pearl Jam, STP, Soundgarden...still love it.
Got my first guitar...Vantage Avenger. Still have it.

1970s - Musicians experimented with drugs.
1990s - Drug addicts experimented with music.
That whole Seattle music scene was depressing to me and was the downfall of Rock & Roll.
That was the time when I realized I could no longer make a living playing rock & roll in clubs.
The bummed out grunge music chased the ladies away. They headed to the dance clubs because they couldn't dance to the so called new rock & roll.
That's when the big clubs closed and the jobs went away.

Got married and my daughter was born. Stopped playing guitar for most of it. Business was good, made money. Bought my first houses in the 90’s. Not so happy about most of the music I heard but liked some of it. Frank Zappa died:(
