Has anyone tried the Sweetwater Exclusive Gretsch G5420TG-59 in Vintage Orange?
They currently have them for $699.99, $200 off regular price.
That Vintage Orange has to be the prettiest Orange Gretsch has put on a guitar.

    I have one! It’s a gorgeous guitar.
I paid full price like a SUCKER back in February!!

With the $200 you save, buy a case!
And maybe some strap locks :D

That is a "sweet" deal! Korean made, too. So beautifully made.

At that price, leaves some funds IF you decide want to upgrade pickups.

    For a full-hollow Gretsch, you just can't go wrong with a 5420!

They're such nice guitars. I would likely swap to HS Filter'trons, TV-HT Hilo'trons, or... T-Armonds! Simply because I like the tones. But no doubt very pleasing sounding, as is.

Yep, I have a lovely 5420T-59 with a B6C V cut Bigsby, US Filtertrons and Grover tuners. Great guitar! Perfect for when I don't want to take the pro series guitars out
