Do all new Gretsch’s ship with 11’s, or just the hollow bodies?

    Just curious.

Two jets from China (G5435 and G5220), a Japanese Jet (G6228FM) and Japanese Broadkaster Jr (G6659) all came with 10s installed

My Penguin came with 10's. I emailed and asked here is part of the reply. "Hello John,
    It's a standard set of 10s: .010, .013, .017, .026, .036, .046."

    I now have the Thomastik Jazz swings on it, JS112 .012, .016, .020, .027, .037, .050

Yep. My G5220 has 10s on it. Quite like them. I think D'Addario (with a wound G)

Thanks for the replies, don’t know where I got the idea that 11’s were standard. Sounds like all these answers indicate that 10’s might be what Gretsch ships most guitars with.
