Sticky nitro neck

    That's true but this is a Musikraft neck- thin lacquer sealer from MK, then coated with a thin coat tinted nitro.

    Are you sure? Seems like another coat of something different might seal it? But ....I've never tried it...

    I don't think so. The first coat of Truoil needs to bite into bare wood.

    I felt like that seltzer Phoenix was like that. The neck felt sticky all the time

    I guess a Polyurethane coating works a lot better than a (completely useless) mix of poly/nitro.
