This is a little different in that I’m using lightweight paulownia for the body. It’s going to be a solid color so there’s no need for a separate top. Wiring should be fun though.

With a two point tremolo there’s a fair amount of stress on the two anchors. I’ve seen pictures of these mounts wandering north in harder woods than this so I decided to glue a block of Ash into the middle here to make sure that doesn’t happen.

I need to sell something so I can order parts lol.

Excuse me while I go bump the paisley again

Just need to drill the neck fixing holes and then prep for paint.

Single color but I haven’t decided which color to go with.

The wood inlay seems to be a very good idea.

Strings on. Give it a day before doing a setup.
Ended up going with @Synchro red.

Ahhh red, always great! Love the pickups configuration too! You need to find an original layout for the headstock Eman, something like old '50x Sears guitars. It would look stunning.

Did the setup this morning. Intonation was really close, only had to move two saddles (G and E). The nut slots were way high so I filed them down and then filed the top of the nut down too. Trem bridge sits level, i dis get some neck relief overnight so I raised the bridge saddles a tad and it plays well now.
I dig these pickups, they sound more classic Strat than most Strats. Probably the lower output.
Trem comes back up into tune great so on the whole I’m happy with it, despite my usual klutz like relic efforts.
