Hi all, I have just put my money down, all £169 for this little beauty. I just had to have it for that finish.
If any of you are wondering what it is, it's a Chinese manufactured tele type guitar from a company called Quincy based in the UK/France. Great guitars for the money down. I have five guitars from them already in my collection. I just love this finish and I would love to see a Gretsch similarly attired. What do y'all think of a bit of bling?

ps How do I get pics to show in my posts rather than as links?

That's a cool finish. It makes me think of the crystals used in ceramics to add colors in a crystal type finish.

I should be taking delivery of the guitar next week. I think they are fairly large reflective, circular flakes. Not sure how this finish is applied but I would guess they are thin discs of silver mylar or something similar scattered between coats of lacquer. I am hoping it will be pretty sparkly.

In most things I am a big, gruff, gloomy Scotsman but when it comes to my guitars I go all 'Liberace' :D

Reminds me of the new green hot rod. I'm not much of a fan for green but I dig these type of finishes.

Thanks Calebaaron I was stumped with the images. In everything else that I do the software here seems like another forum I use but I couldn't find a way to get images to load automatically from my Flickr account. Not quite the same but uploading the file at least means not having to follow a link.

Beautiful. I'm a sucker for sparkly guitars. I've got two!

The silver one is a project I'm going to take on over the holidays. I'll be turning this old Pro Jet into a poor man's Silver Jet. I'm adding new Filtertrons, new controls (wired with the classic master volume/neck volume/bridge volume/master tone setup), a Bigsby, a floating Bigsby rocker bridge, a new Tusq nut, and a custom pickguard. Gonna have some fun with it.

Ah I'm a bit of a Green nut. Love green guitars but it's probably the rarest colour in the guitar world. I am trying to persuade my contact at Quincy to bring out a big hollowbody with P90's, bigsby and this kind of finish in a Kingfisher blue.

Here's a green one that turns me a similar colour with envy:

That is nice! I did see a Country Club in cadillac green for sale in the UK recently and, if I had had the neccessary cash - £2,500($3,200), I would have snapped it up.

My never sell. One of ten in Europe, and as far as I can tell the only one in the UK.

I'm not big on sparkle, but that's a great shade of green.
