A work in progress. I just got the body back today from Texas. Kate at

Did the artwork. Now I need to just bolt it all up and get it ready. Really pleased with how the artwork came out. 20190812_172148.jpg 20190812_172458.jpg 20190812_172415_HDR.jpg

It is an original logo for my band. We went with a simpler design but I kept this for myself. I saw a photo of a barn owl I thought it reminded me of Elvis in the white and gold jumpsuit. Hence all of the gold. The White Falcon as prey represents my own Inner quest for the sound that I hear in my head.

I checked out the link you gave. Did she paint that with automotive enamel or is that something else. Really nice job. I can see Elvis now that you mention it.

Wait, is this guitar blue or is it green? Careful with that axe, you might break the internet.

Auto paints. It is a turquoise wood dye. It has 14 coats of caseys Tru oil which darkened in a bit, plus when the light hits it it can look a little bit greenish.

It's getting a 97 American Standard Strat neck which is my favorite neck. Hipshot Bridge and the pickups are from Zhangbucker. Paul Bunyan in the bridge ,, and the Cherick P90. Won't know till it's all together but I'm having high hopes for the combinations. The top is maple and the back swamp ash.

This is my first ever attempt at finishing a body. I learned a few good tips for the next time around, but I'm quite pleased with the results here
