Ordered the softer spring, like the feel of it much better, but caused major tuning issues on my 5120 bigsby... Put original spring back in,, no more tuning issues.
    FYI - - FWIW.

IMHO, gtttrrr, the trouble doesn't comes necessarily from the spring itself o_O...

1 - is the spring well seated in the bigsby cups ? Some grinding of the spring ends may be necessary. A badly seated spring may procure offset in tuning stability.

2 - bindings may occur at the usual locations : nut, bridge... Have you checked this accurately ?

All my Bigsby-fitted guitars have now a Super Squishy Spring, and you are right : the feel is much better and I wouldn't go back now. But some of my guitars needed touch-ups like mentioned in points 1 and 2 above in order to stay perfectly in tune.

Well, these are suggestions, OK ? :D

    A+!

I use the Reverend Soft Spring in ALL my Bigsby equipped guitars. Binding is happening at your nut man. You are probably getting more travel out of that softer spring which is making your nut issues more apparent.

You really need to put in some time working on your nut.

Thanks guys, appreciate all comments and direction.
Have done zero work to the nut, will look into that, but truthfully, I don't hate the stiffer spring, and she's workin pretty well right now.
