    I just took the .jpg that I posted to the trophy maker. He translated it (or whatever) in a couple of minutes then engraved the plate. I wasn't there more than 1/2 an hour!

    That worked cause it’s a small sized cover plate.

    If I were to use the same file to print a banner(think feet rather than inches) the individual pixels that make up the artwork would clearly be visible as small blocks.

    Vector art is ideal for line illustrations cause it describes the lines(also called Bezier curves) in position, length, thickness, curvature and colour, generally keeping the file size extremely small, but has the added benefit the illustration can be scaled without loss of quality.

    At last...stuck in after 2 days of freezing rain...finally took some pics. Detail of the steerhead, the roller bridge, and the three position tone knob. (Invisably) wired like a mud switch. Plus overall showing the handmade pickguard.
