Had this on Reverb for about 2 months and I didn't get a nibble. So I kept looking at it and thinking of the things I didn't like. So I changed them and boy do I like now. Gone is the B70 and figured while I had it apart I'd ditch the tone knob and add a mud switch. With a hybrid set of 9-46 you can bend the snot out of the strings and check with the strobe 10 minutes later and it's still in tune. Glad I kept it! Before After
Does anyone have a vector file of the steerhead logo? What I've found is a pixel format and too low res to trace.
Glad you kept it too . Could you tell me about that cabinet . Back in the early 80s , I had a Fender Twin Reverb and a cabinet like that ( 2-12 ) . I called it my Fender Twin Reverb " Stack " . I haven't seen a cabinet like that since then . Nice rig BTW
@vyndance I have been considering the pickup configuration you used. Can you tell me how the Hilo blends with the Blacktop? Thx
It's a fake! It's actually an old Bugera 212 cabinet. I got it and the 333 head that goes with it for next to nothing. The cabinet is built from plywood and MDF and is a tank. So all I did was add 2 8 ohm WGS V30's the Fender cloth and logo to go with the Bassman.
The guitar is a 5655t-CB and came with those pickups. They sound really great together. The Super Hilotron is a sound all it's own and I'd like to find another for the neck but they are as scarce as unicorns!
I just made a quick and dirty EPS of that little image, let me know if you want me to email it to you.
I have a common vector file of the Roundup version, needs work in my opinion but gets you halfway there.
Obviously u don't give them away???? No. I had to sell them. Have you ever had to give something away for free and without need? Strange reply.
No. I had to sell them to save my familie`s ass. Have you ever had to give something away for free and without need? Strange reply.
