As there seems to have been a bit of a rush on PRs of late, I thought a dedicated thread was in order. Extra kudos for getting a guitar in the shot.

    One for the money!

My church amp, lives on tilt back legs these days, bouncing off the wall behind me. I did change the speaker to a Jensen alnico P12Q, it's sweet!

prince maestro white.jpg Here's mine: a blackface PR circuit built into the chasis and cab of an old Gibson GA-30, with a 12" JBL speaker...

Edit: don't know what happened there--we'll chalk it up to user error. Here's the pic.

    Here's mine.
A late 70's model with "Pull for Boost" volume and Boost FSW facilities.
In a premium condition, barely used, with his original cover :

I made some modifications and electronic refurbishing on him - mainly due to his years of sleeping, giving him a poor sound as is :

Now he's a killer amplifier...;)

    A+!

I have a Vintage Sound 15, which is a hand wired Princeton circuit based amp, but with some mods. It has a 12" speaker, a much bigger reverb pan (Fender Twin size) with a Dwell control in the back, a Mid tone control, a 5AR4 rectifier instead of a 5Y3 (but swappable), and a Standby Switch. I way dig it!
    Sorry for the crappy pic!

    Nuclear attack ? I don't see, @Uncle Daddy : please explain... o_O

Yes, I have a stock of circa 20-30 NOS Bendix 5992 that I bought for peanuts more than 20 years ago in a French Army Air Force (Armée de l'Air) surplus - exactly like these :

This makes me think that I could built another cab for my SF PR to save the mint original... A model with 2 swappable 10" and 12" baffles :cool::cool:

    A+!

Thanks ! But at 29 euros, I can built it by myself : it's just a flange...

Moreover, I will never work with TAD anymore : they are escrows.

I'd better built a convenient (fancy tolexed :D) cab in marine plywood, and keep the particle board original one as stock, on which the 10" baffle is moreover not removable (I reinforced it : think it was a 16mm particle board...).

    A+!
