I'll play!! 6120W-1957 pre Eddie Cochran model!!
No "G" brand but here's my Western guitar ... and Western Shirts ... and me in the middle playing Western Music ... not bad for a kid originally from The Bronx
Here's my 2012 G branded western box of fun!
Too bad I had to sell my DSW to get some grub to the table, but...
I try to stay Western Enough with this tuned 6118 .
Great to see all those orange beauties!
My DSW (along with a Gibson Tennessean).
I built me a cowboy Cadillac......with a little bit o help from a adapter kit.
My ( self applied) G brand.
Coooool! What is that "BEAR" damper made of?
Out if interest how do u find the gibson Tennessean?
I was playing a Tennessean recently at a guitar show.
It's 2 pieces of embossed leather with velcro on the insides. It was a gift of longtime Gretsch fan Bear, who passed away recently.
It's a different beast compared to Gretsch models (of course) but I really do like it. It's a great alternative to 335-like models.
That's a fine idea, I wonder why the likes of these don't already sell by dozens? And that is sad to hear, RIP Mr. Bear!
Here is the one I let get away. It's the one guitar I traded that I regret the most. My Eddie Cochran.
