    Man, this one has been rode hard and put away wet. On top of that he wants $800 for it!

    First glance it looks OK..

    The spiel;

    Got this at auction is well played ...I plugged it in and electronics work ...I see a remnant of lable ...not sure of year or model ...nasty paint job ...probably owned by a kid ....frets well worn ....good action...will come with a cheap case but will protect in shipping.

    If it was a $250 beater, I'd think about a long term rescue project, but not 800.

    A Dyna, two G-knobs and a tailpiece for 800,-? It definitely needs a brave man to restore this wreck...

    One reason I don't like these custom relics!

    Me too! Rode hard and put away wet is certainly one way of putting it, and I would add "many years of disrespect for an instrument." Sad.

    Not knowing the real story behind this guitar, I'd say that it looks like one of the Nashville Flood guitars.

    Vendor appears to specialise in random stuff of nightmares. This is a snip at only $200...

    Now see what happens if you don't take care of your guitar. Let that be a lesson to you guys.

    That guitar is bad, bad news. The doll, however, is far worse! I bet it moves on its own at night clutching a can of Krylon, looking to spray paint any guitar it encounters battleship gray.

    Cutaway Corvette's aren't real common but yeah, that one is trashed. That's one for the parts weasel.

    At that price, even the parts weasels wouldn't touch it. As often seen, someone is relying far too heavily on the Gretsch name adding to the value of a guitar.
