Wife wanted tickets so now we are going. I like his music but hate concerts and the crowds. Always some kind of altercation. Perhaps in this day and age with the new breed of kids, it will be easier to put up with. Back in the day, it seemed every guy was looking for a fight. I have no idea what to expect. I do hope its a good show!

I saw him with White Zombie in the 90’s. He put on a great show back then but have no idea about now. Enjoy!

White Zombie were a breath of fresh air back then. I almost gave up on rock because of the Glam thing.

Hmm let me see, You can choose which you prefer. I actually like both but there is only one Rob Zombie and only one Rob Thomas.

Pick your poison for me it all depends on the mood.

I'm quite comfortable moving between these two. Give me more cowbell, I mean tangent.

Marlin Manson. I can't stand his music. I wanna puke but I will put up with it for Rob Zombie.

I was talking to a guy I know who is an incredible player. Neither one of us like the tone Santana has but it works for him. I wouldn't choose it as my sound but he has made it his own. To me, it's like a really overpowered mud switch. I still like his music, not all but some and certainly wish I had some of his skill!

I liked early Santana tone, back when he played a P90 SG and the early Boogies, and still had some fire. With every switch of guitar or amp he seemed to add gain and compression.
Haven't listened to him in years. Last time it was turning pretty musak-y.

Saw Mr. Zombie with KORN back in the day. Dual headliner type show. Opener was Mindless Self Indulgence. Good times!

To expand on my previous post, it was a Manson & Zombie tour too (here in Houston).
I like both of them. Manson wasn't in good shape (either drugs or just sick... hard to tell). He played an abbreviated set 3 or 4 songs... and being a fan, I was disappointed.

Zombie came out and killed it. Honestly it was the loudest concert I've ever been too. My clothes were hitting my body with each thump.

It was a good mix of young Zombie fans, middle aged people like myself, and older Zombie/Alice Cooper fans.

You'll be fine. There's always a couple of weirdos but the majority of people at metal shows are there to actually listen and have a good time.
