No, I'm not talking about the music marketplace I'm talking about reverb.
I rarely use pedals...mostly just reverb or tremolo on the amp but sometimes I just get tired of the reverb effect and turn it off and the music just sounds so much more pure...
anyone else experience this or do you just love your pedals?

I seldom play without a little bit of reverb in the mix for some added flavor.

I personaly love the sound of a Gretsch with reverb. But I do often change the settings of my reverb pedal ( Strymon Bluesky), plate, room, spring, mix settings,... And you get always a different sound.

Variety is the spice of life. Turn it on. Turn it off. Change settings. Use a different reverb. Enjoy!

If you're not digging it maybe you're using too much of it. Shorten the decay time, turn down the amount, go a for a darker algorithm, try a hall setting rather than a spring.

Yeah, really depends on what you’re going for. I personally am a reverb junky. I probably need rehab.

I always have some sort of reverb on ranging from just some ambiance to completely wet. I love reverb

I use it all the time but i definitely try to switch it around during my playing. The Vox AC onboard reverb is a good startingpoint, but i love the rich saturation from my Neunaber Seraphim. Running through two amps, one dry one with reverb a lot lately.

There's reverb in life. Have to have a touch of it when playing. Sounds far too sterile and unnatural with no reverb at all.

I do like the reverb & built in tremolo on mc AC15.
I have a Keeley Abby Chamber Verb pedal that I fool around with sometimes it is pretty cool to play with but I'm not into effects too much.

I use it if I have it. My moonshine doesn’t have reverb so sometimes I use the F-bomb reverb tank but also the mystery brain gives me an almost reverb type effect so sometimes I just use that

Gotta have a drop of verb.
  16. I am close to selling off a 64 bassman, it has no reverb.

My favorite reverb for guitar is the one in my Ampeg Gemini 1. Deepest, thickest, coolest verb ever. but I do love many other reverbs - Strymon, lexicon, plate reverbs - they are all cool.
I think the most expressive effect is echo - tape echo especially.

I have an amp without reverb. I always add some when I play it. My other amps has it and it's always one to some degree. Just can't get along without some of it. Less when cutting through a mix, but always some.

I like tiny reverb. I also like gigantic expansive reverb. I never really got with ‘shimmer’ though.

I got a Hall of Fame Reverb which is by far the best reverb-unit I ever had but I rarely use it (as I very rarely use any effects).
I somehow think that reverb makes the whole sound a lot less "immediate". So I would rather use a delay for ambience.
