    I'm not much religious but this man has really been a huge influence on me and many other musicians. Just listen to how awesome he is! Nobody trying to force religion on you, take it if you want it but just hear this man.

    I like it , thanks for sharing .... hey , is that a 12 string in his hands ( the more reason to like him too ) :)

    The Reverend's great! I got turned onto him by Jorma Kaukonen, who's covered several of his tunes going back to the early 70's. I've always wondered why he's not more of a household name to be truthful ... Here's a favorite of mine:

    No need to apologize, music is music., I don't drink but I play songs about it, I'm not religious but I play gospel songs, and I've loved the old Black Gospel groups since I was a kid.

    Jorma was lucky enough to get lessons directly from the Rev. as were quite a few others. You could just go to his house in NY and for five bux he would give you a lesson of undetermined length. I think John Sebastian also frequented his place
