    I loved the Globetrotters in those days - Meadowlark Lemon and Curly were the stars. RIP.

    I always associate these two stars when I hear someone say " The Harlem Globetrotters " . They truly earned the title of , " super stars " .
    Both gone too soon

    I always think of ABC's wide world of sports, the globetrotters were great entertainment and were all over place in the early 80s
    Geese Ausbie and Curly were my favorites.
    Sorry to see him go.

    Yep, gotta love the Globetrotters. Got to see Curly and Meadowlark many years ago when I was a youngster...yep many years ago. May they both RIP.
