If you’ve ever heard Seymour Duncan’s handwound “Dynasonics” you know just how gritty and beefy they are. Wildwood Guitars had 15 Black Penguins made in December 2014 with Duncan Dynas. This was the 14th in the run. Armrest, vertical logo, feather inlays, pinned bridge, and all the Penguin bling.
Heres a link to Gregory Kochery playing another of the 15.

Absolutely flawless. Barely played. Never gigged. Not expected ever to be sold until i fell in love with a ‘55 Gibson that requires I sell two prolines quickly..... hence the price. You might never see another of this run come up but you’ll never find one this minty at this price!
Comes with OHSC. $50 shipping in the CONUS. ($2250 for local in Chicago) C38F43E2-D4E5-406D-8743-1CC1C4B21506.jpeg 982AC114-EC86-4B0B-BCF9-4134E03E8BDC.jpeg 9908843E-6442-4E81-A84E-5234AD4BBB75.jpeg 05F7B87D-4400-4033-B714-1B38F789C8BC.jpeg See separate listing for the Country Gentleman.

Yep. I don't like the squealing Gretsch Dynas but I would be very happy with the Duncan version!

Gorgeous guitar. I love Gregory Kochery playing anything. Different bridge in the first image. I'm assuming that the AOM was stock?

I tried it with a Brass Compton that i already had, but i switched back to the stock TOM bridge because it sounded crisper and the Compton was cut for fatter strings which caused the E and B to sound weak. The stock bridge is fantastic. I have a compton on my Anniversary and it rings out like a bell but the brass one just didnt do it on this guitar.

This is 8.78lb. The heaviest guitar i own. The weight plus the beefy pickups make this thing roar!

Wow Great guitar! Those pickups are ridiculous! If I didn't have so many absolutely necessary things I have to get I'd be all over this right now.
Best of luck with the sale!

I know! But this is the end of the line. Any less than this and the whole thing is pointless because the mathematics dont work.
I have to remind myself, if i dont get the ES295 i get to keep what i have..... and thats cool. A week ago i wouldnt have dreamed of ever selling my Penguin!
