It would have to be the wine red Gibson Johnny Smith I owned many years ago. No photo available, I had trouble even finding a decent picture of a wine red one on the web.

Second prettiest is probably my Guild T-400.

Most of my guitars have been Gretsches or Rickenbackers. To me, they're more "cool" looking than "pretty." For pretty, I think I'd have to go with a pre-war archtop. I had a circa 1940 L-7 that was gorgeous. But I think the winner would be the oval hole 1927 L-4 I had for a while. Just like this one:

If I think that I passed on a deal on a 1913 L1 in tobacco sunburst (that would have meant to part with my 1930 Bruno Regal and a few hundreds of euros) I still feel bad.
Worst guitar decision I ever made.

One of only 13 made for Greenwich Music in Greenwich CT in 2007. Forum member @drmilktruck has one too and graciously helped me get mine sent to Oz when the seller baulked at shipping outside USA.
    Here's the 2 together on Jim's wall:

I actually promised first dibs on this to forum member @Wayne Gretschzky in the unlikely event I ever sell it.

Ok then, I'll swim to Minnesota for @drmilktruck's. (Bonus: I can get there without leaving the Great Lakes. The downside is that this would require swimming over Niagara Falls.)

Thank you Living. That pic was shot by the seller and really brings out the red. She's actually Tobacco Burst.

Now that you mention Hofner, yes, they make some beautiful guitars. A lot of the European guitars have proportions and aesthetic touches that just seem...off. Not so with Hofner. Whoever was doing the design work there had a great eye.
