I'd have to say, my mid 90's USA Hamer Special FM....just a great flame job. I had another and it was much more subtle. Also sounded killer, but was not my best playing guitar (though it was still very good).

Yeah, I'm with you. I keep getting pulled back into Rics because they're so beautiful, but then I keep realising that the things they do well aren't the things I wanna do.

Who recently acquired the gold Ric? That was a combination made in heaven.

I'm in the same boat. I've had mine for a few years now, and I can barely play it now due to damage to my left hand.

I've thought about selling it, but then I look at it and it's so beautiful I just can't seem to pull the trigger.

OK... In the "Versatility Dept.", my prettiest would be this one, I think :

She offers a "Gretsch + Strat-like" interesting tone combination and a premium playing comfort. One drawback though : the access to the highest treble is quite limited...

    A+!

    Is that an Annie?
If not, I'm surprised nobody has selected a green Annie. They always look very beautiful to me.

I'll do the G3140 for you, as it's also the prettiest guitar I ever owned:

Thanks! As we all know, Cat's Eyes make everything sound better, too!

Yes, she was (is) a one-of-a-kind, beautifully built instrument. I shouldn't had let her go... But OK, what is done is done.

    A+!

2000 CS '56 Strat. I'v really deliberated over this one, 'cause I think they are all beautiful. I had a Johnny Marr Signature Jaguar in "Knockout Orange Metallic. for a while that was also a contender. Sold it though--I couldn't get used to the scale and radius. My photography doesn't do it justice.

    So clean and simple. Elegant.
    A real statement.

    ....And it rocks like hell.

I've always loved the look of the Sienna Burst. I don't know why I never got one, but I sure love the look.
