Absolutely the right perspective. Family comes before guitars. You wouldn’t be able to truly enjoy it if it came with guilt. Well done.

If it ain't right, it ain't right.....you know.
There's been a few time's a National Tricone popped up for 13 or 1400.00, way cheap and i could have done it but not without feeling like a total DB, no way i could have enjoyed owning my bucket list guitar like that.

This is the 295 along with the totally impulse Epiphone Broadway that i bought on monday while i was looking for a case for the Gibson. Its been quite the fat body month (and im not talking about me and @EdwardsKim ).

That is awesome...I understand why it’s on there but what exactly have you created to protect your finish from the evil arm of that guitar stand?

tee shirts and socks! Never worried about those rubber stands till i got a nitro guitar. I ought to do a better job of tailoring . They look terrible dont they, but its better than the dreaded rubber

I may have over dramatized this a bit. It’s true but not as impressive as I probably made it sound.
When it sells or I somehow get it, y’all will be the first to know.

I did find one minor quibble with my perfect guitar; it has a 12” radius fretboard. Not a deal breaker by any means but I prefer a 9”.

Ha! They do look out of place in that beautiful room with those knockout guitars

The thing that had me baffled was behind the 295 is some sort of black protrusion...I’ve now figured that it is likely a double guitar stand.

For some reason it was making me think of the flying glove in Yellow Submarine.

You are doing the proper thing...IMHO. It’s a guitar, take care of Business first and foremost.
