Pokey puts on a great show. He's surrounded himself with some really talented people---like Chloe Feoranzo on clarinet and sax. That's the kind of music that gets your feet tapping in 30 seconds or less.

No kidding, if a person can stay still during one of his songs they must be in a pine box.....:D

Loved that cats music for many yrs. He's got a Jr Barnyard but I've yet to see it show up on a stage :) Will have to watch today, btw JD McPherson is going to be doing a virtual show too coming up. One of my favorite spots to see roots players perform is in the LC King factory in Bristol Tenn. All my Denim is american made from this factory.. I'm not any sort of nationalist but damn if my heart doesnt beat proud to listen to a roots band perform in one of america's oldest denim factory. the sound is perfect to

have to add the JD Mcpherson one too, its so good.

It was fun to watch. I’m sure he appreciated that I played along on each song :D

I of course missed his band so I had to fill in for them...

Good on him for doing this for us

Missed that, darn it. First heard him years ago on Marty Stuart's TV show. Here's the studio version of his new single...

First off, thanks to Freshy for posting this. A great artist indeed.

I can’t say enough about how much I like these clips. There’s open space in this music. It’s not bashful, but it’s not in your face either. It’s a nice compromise.

As a general rule, I’m not all that interested in the clarinet, but the sound she achieves is excellent. This is great stuff.
