I went to see Backyard Babies tonight and the front man played a gorgeous Gretsch which I couldn't fully identify.

Can someone here identify it? I assume that it's a current production model, but I can't find it at gretschguitars.com. It's thin, semi-acoustic model and the closest I can find is: https://www.gretschguitars.com/gear...ring-thru-bigsby-and-gold-hardware/2401800805

But it doesn't have a tone switch and is not available in the same colour. Hmm...

I have one and it's a great player. I also have the 6112TCB-WF-JR white Falcon version too:

Thanks! So it's a limited edition model? Then I need to hurry up selling a guitar to make space for one of these...

@Carl Bigsby , you could always try an Email ....... I've Emailed 2 bands with questions and received great results ( The Waifs and Paul Rodgers / Bad Co . ) I've also once called the promotion company for Rhonda Vincent and they were very helpful

Thanks. But the members of this forum has already identified it and I even know where it's available. Now I only need to make room for it by selling another guitar...

Heads up - according to the link that section2 posted from Cream City Music , seems only 50 of these limited editions were made and distributed worldwide . Good luck with the search . Sure is a beautiful guitar ...

Well, between Backyard Babies, @audept, and that other guy, we know where three of them are. 47 left!

EDIT: I missed the fact that @Tony65x55 has one too. Down to 46!

That's great. I read today that he has close to 300 guitars two of them are Gretsch. It seems like anyone who is a reputable player in the buissness has at one time or another played Gretsch.
I always wanted one as a young player
When I finally got mine just last year, I was smitten.
I can see why there is such a of love of these guitars. I know I have become a lifer.
