This post probably isn't in the right place, but I wasn't quite sure where to put it. Anyhow--can some of you post places that you've purchased pickguards (and truss rod covers, etc) from. I had a nice bunch of bookmarks for places that some of you have mentioned in the past...and #&@%! Microsoft and a stupid update backdated my bookmarks to last summer, so I lost them.

I'm looking for both Gretsch and Telecaster pickguards. Thanks!

For Teles, you can find most of anything you want on Ebay and Reverb. I've ordered quite a few from various sellers. For Gretsch, I haven't tried Quickguards but people seem happy with them. I'm a happy customer of Paul Setzer, before I started making my own (I have a modest pattern collection). I'm also a happy Decoboom customer, having bought several of their guards for my Teles. Not affiliated but I did let him use a few gear photos :)

Greasy Groove also has a wide selection, though Quickguards and Setzer Signs are the only ones I know of who make guards with the Gretsch logo. You can also buy official Gretsch guards (and other hardware) from Darren Riley or Angela's Instruments.

My local engraver has replied and I gave him the order. I doubt that he could be easily challenged at 64 Euros for the CNC laser custom cut-engraved set below, intended to my G5220LH :

One stopbar plate in Maillechort (white metal) :
One pickguard in PMMA "à la Gretsch Jet pickguard" :

For once it's made in France !;)

I never could get up with Paul Setzer and he's relatively local to me, so I went with Mike at Quickguards. Great work by the way.
