P90’d my ES 335!

    A Casino, and an ES330 are full hollow, not so an ES335.

    so the p90's covered the routs well? i have wanted to do the same thing for a long time, also wanted to try humbucker sized p90's hmm very interesting and looks better too, love it!

    If you get up real close, there is a thin-sliver of the route just visible down the side of the dogear covers. For the bridge pickup, this will be covered by the shim (when I get it!) and I can live with it on the neck pickup.

    P90s on hollow bodies are great. They have been my combination of choice since I found the hi-lo trons... still I love them so much.
    When I could afford to buy some serious gear, I once owned a ‘66 ES330. Awesome guitar. Too bad I had to sell it when I bought the house (along with my beloved ‘72 Martin D38). I’ve never been able to achieve that sound ever since.
