Worth the wait. Nice!!!
Well - I'm not familiar with all the different kinds of dynasonics. But these say "Dearmond Rowe Industries Toledo USA" or similar on the bottom. I might raise them with something - especially the bridge Pickup is too far away from the strings and the pole pieces have been raised far.
If some experts can tell me more about these pickups, would be great ! According to my (not so great) knowledge, these are "genuine" vintage Dearmonds !? (None of the reissues had written "Rowe Industries" right?). What I do know: I really like the sound - even with the given setup (which might be not the best) it sings ! Much more focused compared to my 6120DC with the filters and "stronger" compared to the Hilos of the double Anni.
This Rally might not be THE most beautiful Uber-Gretsch, but I think she looks cool and most important: is so much fun to play - yes - cause she plays & sounds great !
More and more I convert to a Gretschoholic . Some of you told me that, when I joined 1 year ago
It is über-beautiful, friend! A real statement. As a vintage Gretsch lover I really appreciate this one. Original or not.
Glad, that you like her !
in good company with older sister 6120dc...
I just had an hour with my Fender (amp!) - first just dry without any effect. Hmmm already great sound. Then, added some reverb -
Wow, that's absolutely gorgeous, congrats !!
Beautiful, congrats! That must be a refin, I don't remember seeing that color finish before.
Congrats that looks amazing. Perhaps consider having the binding looked at before it gets worse and infects the wood.
No, that translucent green was an original Rally finish option. Less common than other finishes, but it's legit.
Thanks for that, first time I've ever seen it.
Maybe we can get one off Lil Wayne
They have ONE on Reverb right now. for a G.
I found an old listing of one from two years ago, that sold for half that.
Gretsch didnt have the DeArmond Rowe inscription on the coil former of the Dynasonic but these are original Model 2000 from what I see, by DeArmond Rowe.
Now, THAT's really pretty! If she plays half as good as she looks, then she's a keeper!
Oh My........Sweet. Goooo I love guitar porn.
