In the mail today - hopefully, I have found my one-knob, always-on reverb.

I like it. Simple controls, no bells or whistles except the ability to change the basic reverb type via the toneprint app. Set it and go, just like an amp. That being said, I've tried a few of the toneprints, and have settled on the stock TC Electronic 'Plate' for the moment. Just enough to put a bit of space around the notes.

I have the HOF II and the plate setting on it sounds almost like a digital delay with a little bit of break up in the echo. I find the "hall" setting to be my favorite for general reverb, can get quite lush if you turn it up past 10:00.

I'll give that a try. It's early days yet, and the toneprint library is a good size. Who knows what I might find?
Also, it turns out that "hall" is the factory setting on the HOF Mini. I suppose I should have tried it first, but I wanted to try Robben Ford's spring reverb.

I've got the HOF 2. Pretty much leave it set on spring. Sounds good to me.

I've heard great things about the HOF reverb pedals. I just recently spent $60.00 for a used Line 6 Verbzilla and the '63 Spring Reverb setting is awesome. Has that early Fender sound. The rest of the settings are pretty good as well.
