There was a distortion thread recently, so I casually started browsing the isles.
Big mistake and I don’t even use distortion!

So this arrived today. Sinvertek Drive 5. $180 bucks shipped from China, with a lifetime warranty for the original owner(note the included warranty card speaks of a Limited One Year guarantee)

Pete Thorn probably demos this thing better than I do. I think he called it the best distortion pedal in the last decade.

It sounds great and I love the idea of the programmable boost mode.
It sounds a lot like my Vox Satchurator pedal but yours has a ton more shaping capabilities.

The multi-functionality in the switch is interesting. Reminds me a lot of the MC System pedals(out of New Zealand of all places) a few years back. I just hope the switch holds up.

One thing I wonder. If the pedal's strong suit is taking an amps character and adding a matching drive channel, what would happen if plugged into an old Fender?

Are you implying it has some sort of amp sensing capabilities?

If I’m to believe the reports...
Unfortunately I don’t have a vintage Fender to put it to the test! ;)

Plug it into the clean side of your Crate...I bet it replicates a killer static mosquito tone.
