Very excited about the new pedal !Booster / Octaver . Handmade in Holland, analog, great manipulation of the signal, does what I want and a great design. Has also excellent other pedals. IMG_6459.jpg IMG_6468.jpg IMG_6458.JPG

Looks interesting. Is it a clean booster or more like an overdrive?

Very nice. I’ve considered buying Dr. No pedals in the past. I believe some of the pedals are limited and that might be one of them. They have great packagingas well.

It’s a dirty booster with an Octavio

I've been tempted on occasion. But their pricey, even over here. Also I have a healthy distrust of the stellar but overly artsy exterior design. The cynic in me keeps thinking it must be compensating for a dime a dozen sounding fx.

There are definitely more than a dozen fuzzes and stuff out there. So the pedals may not be revolutionary but might sound great on their own. I had been tempted by the Ka-Fuzz. I think some people/companies understand branding better and I look at the exterior design as such. It might help attract certain artists to design a pedal with them too. But it likely adds to the price overall.
