Pair of P90s and that would be sweet!
Same here. Kind of like a Gretsch version of a plank LP Jr, but with a bolt on neck.
I just keep looking at it.
I was thinking about a B6, a single bridge Dynasonic and a Corvette-like shaped pickguard to cover the other pickup hole.
And then play some twangy Johnny Thunders
I'm dreaming P90's too, or maybe a pair of TV Powertrons?
A few nice colors offered too.
Dang, another guitar that I don't need, but!
$280 in pickups on a $299 guitar....
.. lol ...well , that ends that . I'll just take it the way it is then
Yeah, got thinking of that too. Dang Gretsch should have priced it higher! Lol
What's your point?
I think I need the white one. I'm sure it would bring out my inner Leslie West!
No thanks for me Rich - the natural timber finish is the only thing I like about it.
Electromatic is the cheapest guitar I own
I must get one. Maybe a birthday present to myself. I really like the Golddust version.
I sense great vulnerability. A land child crying out for love, an innocent orphan in the post-modern world.
I see a parasite.
A sexually-depraved miscreant, who is seeking to gratify only its most basic and immediate urges.
It is struggled, it is man-struggled. It lifts my spirit!
It is a loathsome, offensive brute, yet I can't look away.
It transcends time and space.
It sickens me.
I love it.
Well, we've made our decision. We want "The Streamliner Jet."
I like it - It looks kinda like a Telecaster to me.
Funny that you say that. To me it has the LP Jr vibe going on, but, after a few seconds of pondering that thought, the Tele does come to my mind.
Hmmm, I have a nice "plank" now.
They probably would get along well though? Dang it. Lol
Just pointing out it's probably a poor investment, the result however could be really cool and better than a $1000 guitar from elsewhere.
Oh, we've all done that a time or two
Its the new Jet Club right? The white one looks killer too.
