Beautiful, and a well-balanced SG is a great score!
I see you were visited by the Duplicate Post Fairy. She visited me a few days ago. I never have figured out what I did to draw her attention.
That made me laugh! I looked to see if I could delete it, but no such luck.
I think only our moderators have the ability to delete posts. About all we can do is remove the text and insert some lame substitute. Which is what I did.
Very clean construction. Beautiful guitar. Congrats!
Never owned an SG,i would like one though..
"Better" is subjective but I have to admit that I want an SG and all the comparisons draw me to liking the Epis more than the Gibsons....and I have yet to even try the 2020 models which I know are upgraded. The Epiphone SGs I have played really seem to have a richer sound and each time I try them, I admit that I do so with bias favoring Gibson.
Great guitar and congratulations!!!!
Congrats, very nice!
Gratz happy to hear there's no notorious neck dive
Thanks for all the well wishes guys.
No - it has no neck dive at all
So to fully test this SG out I've used it on a recording of a ZZ Top song I'll post here soon.
Honeymoon period is still on but as usual I'm thinking .... if I did X or Y I could improve it even further.
The stock Epi Pro Bucker pups are good but then I saw a cheap set of Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates for sale in US. Sooooo couldn't resist and they'll arrive from US in a few weeks.
Have never owned a guitar with Pearly Gates before but have played a few and loved them.
And I promise this will be my only mod to this SG
