    I think Electros are great.

What I like about THIS though is:

    *jr size body
    *semi-hollow
    *double cut
    *bigger neck
    *stop tail

This spec list doesn’t exist in the Electro lineup. Matter of fact......I don’t know if it exists in the Proline lineup either......

That's true, the small-sized semihollows ... there are some Electromatic ones, but they're singlecut. Shape and size, as far as I know, are exclusive in Streamliners.

Anyway, they're not that typical Gretsch, but that's not a problem unless one expects them to be - who does anyway?

They're great in their own way.

Honestly, I usually like the absence of too much bling bling ... I'm not a pimp, I've got good taste.

If I had known before how much of a difference a non-tension-bar Bigsby is against one with, I would have bought one without, too ... so now I have the B70 and will replace it someday - or just remove that thing and not give an f'.

I put a TUSQ nut on it, new tuners and PAFs They can coil tap but my guitar tech doesn’t want to mess with those f holes trying to set it up.

Am considering a B3 or a B7 Bigsby and roller bridge.

Yes. But a good leather strap cures that.

Oh yeah - I just slapped a set of Grover Rotomatics on it along with Elixir 11s, and it does NOT go out of tune.

Playing a Streamliner thru a Quilter. Glad to see I'm being a positive influence.
How do you like the Quilter?

Just curious, are the Grover tuners a direct drop-in replacement, or do you need to drill new holes for the fixing screws?

    Congratulations TSims1... But I'm curious :

Would you let me know the following dimensions A, B, C, D, of your new G2655 (in mm if you can) so I could compare with my Orange Blossom Special, which has a similar shape ?

I'm a snob.. I use hand made strings from Gabriel Tenorio in Los Angeles or Thomastik of Europe. I only install them between the hrs of midnight and three AM at a room temperature of 77 degrees.
