Isn't it though?
Wow reading this for the first time. What a nightmare! I admire you for your patience but if it were me I would take the refund.
Yeah, I can see the appeal, but that is definitely not in my budget either.
Thomann always treated me right. No problems whatsoever.
I hope you get to enjoy the Victoria soon.
I hope Joe Carducci is aware of this thread and gets Gretsch to pull their inventory from Bax, this is some bad publicity although certainly not Gretschs fault
Next time it's free. You know three strikes etc. It's the law
Got a refund. Time to move on from this débâcle.
I hope you have better luck with your next attempt to get the guitar you want.
It’s very unfortunate you had this happen. On the plus side. Most of GT will likely never order from Bax again.
Good luck on your tone quest!
What a fiasco. I'm so glad you finally got your money back though. I'm going to repost this again on social media to Gretsch. They really do need to be aware of what this retailer is doing, something just doesn't sound right. I hope you find the guitar you wanted at a good price!
Saw a most incredible Penguin for sale the other day but then again I am biased! Such a good price.
Refund is the best way out of that mess...
Now's the time to get back to the search for your '55 Falcon!
