I’ll post some more pictures and tell you all about it when I can stand to set it down.
So pretty!! Congrats
Congrats, that's sweet.
Behold, the mighty Smoke.
Congratulations! She’s a beauty.
Yep! That'll do it. :- )
Very, very nice! Congrats!

Very nice! Congrats!!!!
Looks great, congrats!
Wow, Very Nice
Came back for a second gander. Do these have a nitro finish? It doesn’t have that poly look to it.
Oh yes indeed
I was planning on changing tuners to Sperzel
Space control bridge
And Duane Eddy Bigsby arm
I am perfectly happy with the Gotoh tuners.
The Bigsby arm feels great and bridge is in perfect tune.
I open the case took off the pick guard and After a quick tuning from being shipped away we went.
The action and neck relief were already set. Straight out of the case played better than my electromatic that I’ve tweaked every way possible.
The sound , HOLY C$&P!!!
It’s unbelievable. The lows thump and the highs ring. No wiry pings at all.
The body is a 1/4 inch thinner than the 5420 but it’s very comfortable under the arm. I’ve been playing it since 3pm and my strumming shoulder isn’t sore at all.
The neck and fret board make cording and picking so easy it practically plays itself as long as you put your fingers in the right places.
the finish is awesome. Looks rich and makes the grain stand out. Can’t say enough good about it.
here’s a few pictures Sweetwater sent me of it before it shipped.
The tuners even say Gretsch/Gotoh
Wow! That is one fine instrument. Lucky you!
The edges of the body and the fret board are slightly rounded for comfort and to give a vintage feel. It feels very nice. Along with the semi gloss finish the neck has no drag in the hand. I have never felt such a finely finished guitar in my life.
A 6120 with all the right specs, is something pretty special.
This is one of them. No need to tell you to enjoy! Lol
