Back in April I started chatting with Matt at MJT about building a copy of a tele deluxe played by one of my favourite guitarists...Chris Shiflett's "Cleaver". It arrived this week, and it is killer. A few of the vitals...

Musikraft neck w/CBS headstock, bone nut, block inlays.
    MJT body w/light-medium aging
    Lindy Fralin Hum/cancelling P90s
Wiring harness from StayTuned Custom Shop in Vancouver, BC
The rest is genuine fender hardware ordered from various places, mainly GuitarAudio in Pittsburgh and the Stratosphere.

    Here's a few pics...

For reference’s sake, here’s the real thing...

    Cool Tele,congrats!

I'm not a fan of the big headstock on Tele's or Strats though, strangely i don't mind it on Jags or Jazzmaters!

The body is alder...I believe the MJT options were alder, swamp ash, pine, mahogany.

Congrats. She’s got the looks. The big headstock matches well with the pickguard and 70’s vibe. I dig.

    WoW that's one awesome guitar.
    I have a Thinline P90 tele and it's such a great combo.
Did you relic it? Good job on that
