I have been looking for one good acoustic guitar to replace several okay guitars. However when my wife and I started building a new house and selling our current one, I stopped my quest, at least until the end of the summer when we hope to be in the new place. However some divine force sent me to look at eBay last week and when I saw this guitar I knew it had to come home to me now.

2013 Martin 00-17 Slope Shoulder Custom acoustic electric. (Not Custom Shop but Custom - similar to the FSR program at Gretsch where a dealer orders a standard production model with some changes.) Barely played, like new.

I assume you can see the attraction better in this photo:

Yep, it's navy blue. Only have seen one blue Martin (the Kenny Wayne Shepherd model) and that one was a dreadnaught.

Spruce top, Sipo back and sides (relative of Sapele, so mahogany like.) Short scale 24.9 inch. Comfy neck. Fishman Electronics.

Only got a little playing time but I was smiling.

  8. At first I panicked, as it didn't look blue. But then I calmed after seeing the blue photo. Congrats!

Looks like a palor-sized model. The only acoustic-guitar size I would ever consider to buy as a guy who plays electric guitars, only.
I am surprised that Martin offers a über-cool blue model that suits your very special taste, dear Jim!
    Enjoy it.
