Here’s a picture ...
I like already.
The body is white. Hmmm
There’s really no mystery to it, is there. Every square inch of one of these pretty much gives it away, even the model variant.
I'm glad I stayed up to see that!
Not too many NGDs happenin’ at this hour. Grabbed it this evening after giving another candidate a look.
Man ....... I'm telling' ya , lots of Falcon love here on the forum lately ......... you guys are twistin' my arm . I was on the night shift for 13 years and never got a guitar at all .
Congrats @ramjac , she's a beauty . Play well
I can completely understand you. These are the most spectacular looking guitars on the face of earth. Congrats.
Super nice, Congrads
Just received a brass Tru-arc for a big girl that looks just like it. For me, if ‘There can be only one’, this is it. Congratulations, she’s beautiful!
Just another white gretsch, oh hum hum. Just kidding. Super nice.
Congratulations! There’s just something about the white and gold that’s very pleasing to the eye.
Adding a few shots for the day shift. Gonna roll with it as-is for a while, but a wire Bigsby arm isn’t out of the question. I’ll see how things go with the space control bridge. I have new respect for TV classics, especially after hearing Aram, the CCM Tone Check guy, putting the hurt on one of these in person - was getting all kinds of tones through a Fender amp.
Looked at lotzen’ lots of Falcons this year, including several very nice ones on this site. Different colors, Players Editions. Looked at a Black Phoenix. Strayed off toward a Chet Nashville 6120, a Tennessean with HiLo’Trons, the Steve Wariner model, and even a Vintage Select ‘58 Savage Arctic Predator, but I really wanted a hollow cannon with Spinal Tap-esque Big Bottom. Parted with my first Gretsch, a 5122 with my all-time favorite pickup setup - Super’Tron neck and Classic + bridge. It went to a good home.
Congrats ramjac,a beauty that is!
I need to add one of these 59's to my arsenal ,but i'll be puttin on a Caddy V tail!
Welcome to the club!
I don't see a jack plate . But this Falcon is so beautiful I'll overlook it this time
Yeah, I don’t understand that omission. Sort of like those high end bicycles with no kickstand. Must add too much weight.
If I can find a gold sparkle jackplate, it’s going on straightaway.
