Thanks to people on this forum - you know who you are - I've been gassing for cat's eye sound holes and DeArmond pickups, and I got both features in this Historic Series Streamliner G3150. Isn't she a beaut? On first listen, the DeArmond 2000 pickups have a distinctive sweetness. I hope I'm not just hearing the dead strings; setup comes tomorrow. And of course the cat's eyes dramatically enhance the tone. This guitar has an aesthetic integrity in the width and roundness of the body, the sound holes, and the pickup pole pieces. It seems to play well, but I get a lot of pleasure just looking at it.
