Man.......just saw this new Neunaber Neuron and HAD to have it. What a crazy useful pedal....! Amp sim, cab sim, gain pedal, compressor, noise gate.....with a 3-band eq ..........and you can use as much or as little of it as you want. It can be JUST a compressor, for instance.

So for me......if it’s’ll take my Liverpool, cab sim, and compressor off the board! Can’t wait to get it. I LOVE Neunaber products. Some of the best on the market imo.

Good lookin, too. Interested in your impressions. Speaking of which if you don’t mind me asking here, I need a chorus pedal. Had an MXR years ago I was pleased with.

Let me save you some $ and let you in on one of my personal tone secrets. This is a “leave on all the time” pedal for me. I have it set to VERY subtle, but it makes a really big favorable impact on my tone(and also sounds great at medium and extreme settings). Even if not using it for chorusing, it just gives your tone a it blows it up a little’s awesome.

The Marshall SV-1 Supervibe Chorus. Built like a tank, cheap used online.

Good tip, Tony. Thanks. RC said the same thing several years ago; (I think I still have a Marshall Guv’nor OD pedal laying around somewhere).

The Neuron is flat out AWESOME. I’m really, REALLY impressed with it. For anyone looking for a direct amp solution.......this is totally killer. Then when you throw all the other awesome effects on’s just a no-brainer. I’m super stoked about this.

It feels amp-like. It sounds and responds amp-like under your fingers. The tone is big and blooms......just......well it’s beautiful.

So this means you will be selling your Immerse MK2?

Congrats on your new Neunaber Neuron pedal, Tony. How does it work with the Mystery Brain, since it's also a preamp?

    Works great!

I’ve told Tavo many times that I think as revelatory as a Brain is in front of a tube amp, it’s even MORE radical in front of analog and solid state gear. It REALLY brings some life to the table.

So yes, this takes a Brain very well. I’m on full blast with this rig this morning and really enjoying it!!
