Guitars like these keep you anchored...
Guitar and bass.
Yes, for sure it's an anvil : wood density is about 0.4-0.7, and PC or PMMA is about 1.4 ! (in kg/dm3)
By curiosity, markeebee, did you weighted it ? If yes, let us know...
Everyone knows that plastic is a great tone wood, second only to a northern laminate of maple and walrus penis. Nice guitar Mark!
Now all you need is one of those plexiglass see-through AC30s and you'll be mega, badass cool.
Two were built in 1965 for exhibitions and it shouldn't be a problem for a man with your connections to find one of them going for a song (or a clone!).
And just think, if carrying the guitar has fused your vertebrae together it should not prove a problem lugging the 45kg Vox around.
I can see the headlines now:
Mad musician shrunk by 12 inches in height from carting equipment around.
Joe Walsh was an early DA user---as seen in the movie "Zachariah". Selmer also did one of those Plexi (or should I say Perspex?) amps. In the '30s, Pontiac did a see-thru car. Skunk Baxter plays a Plexi Strat.
Cool...I would put a decal of wood on it!
