A perfect match I think. Just received in the last few weeks my new Gretsch 6620 TFM Nashville Players Edition and a Fender Deluxe Reverb. I love the guitar and amp. Only thing that I could find wrong with the guitar is that the strings were a little high . The amp only had the anico speaker cover come off. After a bridge adjustment and putting the cover back on the speaker I was good to go . The sound is incredible . The High-Sensitive Filter'Tron pickups sounded slightly brighter then my TV Jones Classics. I really love the tone with the Fender Deluxe Reverb. So clean and clear. Here is a pic of my new babies! Yes,the amp is Sweetwater Special Edition with the P12Q speaker, wine colored cabinet, wheat color tweed cover. It sound fantastic, esp.with my new Gretsch. I really love the combo.

I've had a '77 Deluxe Reverb. Sounded great in a stereo setup with an AC15. Can't go wrong playing a Gretsch thru either one. The Fender excels at clean, and the reverb is superb. The Vox has got 'tone'.
