    Hi All
Iv been looking for a new amp to gig with and had my heart set on a Hot Rod Deville.
After trying it out in the shop, the guy suggested I try out this
    20191126_144256.jpg

its the Tonemaster Deluxe Reverb and wow, it is fantastic.
I had to shake off my valve snobbery first as its a modeler but it models the original Deluxe reverb only. It was 2 3rds the price and the clincher was the weight, only 24 lbs and as a working musician it was a no brainer.
It attenuates down to .2 watts so you can crank it in the house.

If you get a chance to try one do it

    Congrats Donaldo!

I had a chance to check one out about a month ago, and I was impressed. I have a Deluxe Reverb Reissue at home so I just wasn't in the mood for a new amp.

These are incredible. I’ve been trying to talk myself out of buying one, but am afraid I am slowly losing that mental battle. The stupid part is, I have absolutely NO need for one. But they just sound incredible.

Congrats, that’s an amp you can be proud of.

Nice amp! I got the twin reverb version. It’s the only amp I use now. Couldn’t be happier and couldn’t recommend them more

With some gigs possibly coming for the Spring, I've been seriously thinking about this over my Blues Cube! My Cube is the perfect little Rockabilly machine, but with the guys I'm playing with it'll be a good mix of things right into the Eighties, plus originals. I'm sure this will be a great little machine for my Spaghetti - Surfy - Rockabilly thing where my own heart lies!

Yes, I will ! - I'll have to find a shop where they are...

At first, I thought it was analogic solid-state amp and said : "Wow ! They finally succeeded... Good !" But it is digital modeling and then I say : "At 955 Euros , too pricey for what it is, sorry". Too bad... :(

They definitely are good, but to me a valve/tube Deluxe is even better, at least better sounding. Just a tad, and I only noticed it in a direct side-by-side comparison.

That was my tale exactly. However, the new Tonemasters are really good!
