On July 13th, Neil Young was playing at Hyde Park festival in London.
There was also Bob Dylan on the bill and that's how I found these pictures on the French Bob Dylan's forum.

It looks rather old, and there are these amazing 4 switch tips above the neck pup!

I'm a life long Neil Young fan, and while he's perfectly capable of releasing the occasional dud, there's enough good stuff going on there that you always want to keep an eye on what he's up to. There aren't too many aging 60's rockers like that - still relevant after 50 years.

Anyway, I was inspired by "Old Black" (pic above) many years ago to add a Bigsby to my Les Paul, and I'll tell 'ya: It transformed an under used closet queen into a regular player! Just like magic! I highly recommend it.

I hear ya . After I saw Neil Young play ( about 10 years ago ) I was really gassing for a Les Paul with a Bigsby ( or to add one ) There's something " magical " about that guitar . Love the duck tape on the toggle switch too ...

So in the vid he's got a B6, probably wanted to get the action lower so in the tech picture its back to the Caddy, probably missed the Bigsby so " just put one on like my Les Paul"......my theory anyways;)

The taped switch is a blower switch. It takes the tone controls out of the circuit. I wonder if it is off or on?

Stereo baby, live and in action!

FWIW, this stereo Falcon was originally Stills guitar. Neil owned a mono version.

They swapped Falcons and the rest is history. Lol

I am always smiling when I see this old geezer. Cannot believe that he is married to actress Daryl Hannah.

It's a stereo Falcon with a B7. I'm pretty sure it's a 60, would like to know the serial number.

I've been watchin many of Dan Rather's interviews on AXS TV, they're great. On one he had Crosby, Stills and Nash. Graham Nash said that initially, on their recordings, Steven Stills played everything, but when they played live they were short a guitarist and enter Neil Young.

It was a minor scandal as before Hannah he was married for 36 years to Pegi. He used to live near where I grew up, Woodside on the peninsula south of San Francisco, before he moved to Southern California; a friend of mine was a waiter in a restaurant he used to frequent. Hannah has more "work" than youth these days!

As long as he’s just singing, I love the man. Got him to play Sugar Mountain while he and the Shocking Pinks performed in Satatoga Springs, NY, Sept, ‘83. Outstanding show. Still, Southern Man don’t need him around, anyhow.

I love that picture. Of course we know that a non-cutaway D’Angelico was the twang secret of all the ‘50s rockers. :)
