I shouldn't be so hard on them....In all fairness, I have only tried the Surf 90's in an Epi Sheraton....but they sounded like total shizzle to my ears

you can at least trust that Tvjones and Seymour are making these from specific parts they have made for them. The others are all generic chinese parts coming from the SAME exact place and the only thing they can offer that their peers cant is their own winding technique. Otherwise the backplates, covers, bobbins, polescrews are the same.
The Lollartron traditional vintage voice are different from his Filtertron Humbuckers which he first came out with of which I posted a video for.listen to it. They sound more accurate to any remake I've heard and I own TV Classics. im not sure where he sources his material but if it's from China I'm good with it.. Lol. Sounds very early Gretsch...the alnico 2 is awesome but he also offers an A5 .
