It's a Player's Edition. The Serial # is JT15xxxx16, so it is a 2015 (?) but the quality control "OK Card" is signed off with a Feb 2016 date. It came in the original Gretsch Box, looking brand new and packaged as a new guitar would be, including with all the paperwork/certificate so I don't think it was modified. The foam was glued in, I guess on top of where the spacers would go. It looked like a very clean install and suggested that it was done like that in the factory.
Thank you! I actually sold a Fano TC6 and Johnny Marr Jag to finance this. And I found a killer deal on Reverb that I couldn't pass up.
I like them looking like dirty girls Ok that was a little creepy! I just give it a quick wipe and don't care if it doesn't look immaculate
Congrats, that's one great looking guitar!
Very cool! Yes it's 2015. I love how those Player's Editions are just a bit more shallow in the body. Enjoy!
Sure is a beauty!!
Yeah, being new to Gretsch I was a bit intimidated by the Full Monty Width...I really like the its reduced depth and it sounds great. I was also attracted to the string through Bigsby, being new to the Bigsby as well.
Congrats to you. I'm jealous.
Very nice, congretschulations!
Wow! What a way to start your Gretsch collection.
