I've got a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell.
Your first two - Grand Funk and Mountain were my first two as well.
Rock Of Ages! Rock Of Ages!

Provides a nice punctuation mark, IMO
Ah, you beat me to it. What other song features a cowbell solo. Oh well.......,.............YEAH! OH Well by Fleetwood Mac! Bonkers idea that
Not one you would normally associate with cowbell, but this particular live performance has one of the best cowbell players in the back up singer group I have ever seen. He steals the show from the guitar solo at 2:00 in. He takes his cowbell seriously. You want more cowbell? Hire this guy! I bet you think you can play the heck out of a cowbell, don’t you, don’t you, don’t you?
You made my day

I've never been on one before, so it was pretty ugly at first. I got the hang of it though, and looked like a pro for the last 30 minutes.
Oh come on!
And this was my favourite band for a while when I was a teenager, almost every song had cowbell on it.....
Spirit's "I've Got a Line On You"---the live version with 20 people on stage.
